Az Agóra Gellértet az Agóra Budapest (a mostani Agóra Corvin) gyülekezetből plántáltuk 2017 nyarán, az első nyilvános Istentiszteletünket pedig 2017 decemberében tartottuk. Egy kicsi, kétnyelvű közösség vagyunk, ami fizikailag a Duna partján található, a Szent Gellért térrel szemben.

Sok mindent lehetne elmondani a gyülekezetünkről, a legmélyebben mégis aziránt vagyunk elkötelezettek, hogy hirdessük az Igét, és hogy Jézus köré építsük a közösségünket. Ezekre nem külön-külön, hanem egészként tekintünk. Minden vasárnap fordítunk arra időt, hogy a tanítás után megbeszéljük a hallottakat, valamint azt, hogy mit látunk a Bibliában. Az a vágyunk, hogy ezáltal növekedjünk Isten ismeretében, és az egymás iránti szeretetben. A hét folyamán házi csoportokban is találkozunk, ahol a még erősebb hitre és a még szorosabb egymással való kapcsolatra törekszünk.

In English: Agóra Gellért was planted out of Agóra Budapest (now known as Agora Corvin) in the summer of 2017 and held its first services in December of that year. We are a small bi-lingual community located on the banks of the Danube just opposite Szent Gellért Tér. 

Our church is many things, but our deepest commitment is to proclaiming the Word and to centering our community on Jesus. We don’t see these as separate, but as one whole. After every teaching on Sundays, we spend time together discussing what we have heard and what each of us sees in the Bible. Our goal and desire in this, is to grow in our knowledge of God and in our love for each other. Then, during the week we meet together again in homegroups where we seek to grow even stronger in faith and community together.
All of this is motivated by our belief that the Church is the body of Christ and that we are His ambassadors. Therefore, we try to be faithful representatives to each other and to those around us so that people can meet Jesus when they meet our church.
